Artisan Events, Inc. d/b/a Amanda Sudimack appreciates that you care about how information about you is used and shared.  This Privacy Policy describes the privacy policy of Artisan Events, Inc. d/b/a Amanda Sudimack and its websites, www.amandasudimack.com and www.PhotoGoGetters.com (the “Site”). Artisan Events, Inc. d/b/a Amanda Sudimack means Artisan Events, Inc., an Illinois corporation, its shareholders, officers, agents, employees, successors, and assigns (referred to hereafter as “we” or “us” or “Artisan Events”).  By accessing or otherwise using the Site or by agreeing to the Artisan Events Site Terms of Use or becoming a Subscriber for Courses or Products, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.  If you do not agree, or are legally unable to agree, to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please exit this page and do not access or use the Site.

Updates to Privacy Policy  We may update or change this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Site. The revised Privacy Policy is effective immediately upon posting. You agree to be bound by any such revisions. You should periodically visit this page to determine the current terms of our Privacy Policy.

Aggregated Statistics Artisan Events may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to this Site. Artisan Events may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Artisan Events does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Types of Information about Users Gathered by Artisan Events The information we gather about users of this Site enables us to provide you with the services, products, and courses you seek and helps us to personalize and continually improve our service to you. Here are the types of information we gather:

Information You Give Us:  We receive and store any information you enter on the Site or provide us in any way. For example, you provide us with information when you establish an account as a Subscriber; order a product, service, or course; sign up for email notifications; post a review or post information in a discussion forum; fill out a survey or provide feedback; or interact with the Site in other ways. We may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, password, or phone number. When you order products, courses, or services, we will also ask you to provide credit card information via a third-party site directly to our credit card processor, who will keep the information on file and which is subject to the credit card processor’s privacy policy. Some of the information we ask you to provide us is mandatory and some is voluntary. If you do not provide the mandatory information requested for a particular activity, you will not be permitted to participate in that activity.

Automatic Information:  We receive, analyze, and store certain types of information whenever you interact with the Site whether or not you have established an account with us. For example, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; your login and email address; information about your browser and operating system; and the Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) of the websites you visited before and after our Site. We also place cookies on your computer to prevent fraud, to personalize your experience on our site, and for other purposes. You may be able to delete or disable such cookies, but doing so may prevent you from taking advantage of some or all Artisan Events services. We additionally may use software tools to collect information about how you move about and use our Site in order to improve our services. If you post Artisan Events offers to your wall through the social network interface we provide, our software tools will also be able to track these interactions, including information about how many friends you have on your social networks .

Information from Other Sources:  We may combine information you provide us with information from third parties to correct our records, personalize your experience, or enhance our services.  This may include, but is not limited to, information from credit bureaus.

How Artisan Events Shares the Information It Receives Information about our users is a critical part of our business.  We are not in the business of selling that information to others, but we may share user information with others in the following ways:

With Authorized Third-Party Service Providers:  We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and operating our Site, and we may provide your personally identifiable information with these parties. For example, when you order a product or service, our credit card processor sends your credit card information to the appropriate financial institution to confirm payment for the service. The use of your personally identifiable information by such parties is subject to their privacy policies and is not subject to our control.

To Parent or Affiliated Companies:  While we currently do not have a parent company, subsidiaries, or any other companies under a common control, we may in the future, and we may share your personally identifiable information with these companies, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy.

In a Change of Ownership:  As we continue to develop our business, we might merge with or be acquired by another company.  If this happens, the successor company could acquire the information we maintain, but personally identifiable information would remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

For Artisan Events’s Protection or the Protection of Others:  We may disclose your personally identifiable information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law or a court order; enforce our Terms of Use Agreement or other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Artisan Events, our users, or others.  

Security of Your Information If you choose a direct Payment Gateway to complete your purchase, we do not have access to your credit card information but Stripe stores your credit card data, which it encrypts through Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). It is encrypted using secure socket layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. All direct Payment Gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.  For more information, you may read Stripe’s Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.

If you choose PayPal® to complete your purchase, we do not have access to your credit card information when you share it directly with PayPal®.  The use of your personally identifiable information by PayPal® is subject to its privacy policy and is not subject to our control.

When you provide us with personally identifiable information, however, you acknowledge that, even with industry standard security measures in place, third parties might unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. It is also important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your computer and to sign off when you finish using a shared computer.

Managing Your Information You have many options for managing your personally identifiable information held by Artisan Events:

You can add to, update, or delete certain information after you establish an Artisan Events account. When you update information, we may electronically store the prior version of your information.  

If you sign up for our mailing list or newsletter, you agree to receive from us email announcements about new features on the Site and new offerings by Artisan Events.

If you do not want to continue receiving promotional emails from us, you may opt out by clicking on the labeled link at the bottom of the most recent email you receive. You may also email us to notify us that you no longer want to receive promotional emails from us. Please include your name, address, and email address in your email to us. As a condition of purchasing products or services through Artisan Events, however, you agree to receive from us administrative emails, which relate to your activity on our Site.  Your personal information may remain in our historical records, but you will no longer receive emails from us about new features or changes to the Site or our offerings.

Third Party Links When you click on links on our Site, they may direct you away from the Site.  We are not responsible for privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy Issues Minors under the age of 13 may not use the Site. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from anyone under the age of 13.  Minors under the age of 18 may make inquiries on the Site only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.  Anyone making inquiries through the Site represents that he or she is 13 years of age or older and, if he or she is at least 13 but less than 18 years of age, that he or she has the consent of his or her parent or legal guardian to make such inquiries and interact with the Site.  If you are aware of any instance where we have collected information from someone under the age of 13, or under the age of 18 without parent or legal guardian consent, please inform us immediately.

Public Areas and Posting We may provide on our Site public areas where you can voluntarily communicate with other Site users, review products or vendors, or submit specified types of content (collectively “End User Public Content”). This End User Public Content will be available for others to read, collect, or use, and we have no control over who reads, collects, or uses the content you voluntarily post. You agree not to post content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties. If you do post End User Public Content, you grant Artisan Events a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, or distribute such End User Public Content and to use your name in conjunction with the End User Public Content alone or as part of other works in any form, media, or technology whether now known or hereafter developed and to sublicense such rights.

Dispute Resolution You agree that this Privacy Policy shall be interpreted under the laws of the State of Illinois without reference to its conflict of laws provisions.  The parties agree that, as to any dispute arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy, the parties shall submit such dispute to an impartial mediator located in Cook County, Illinois for resolution.  If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute by mediation, then the parties may bring an action in a court located in Cook County, Illinois or, if a federal action, in the Northern District of Illinois.  You hereby consent and agree to submit to the jurisdiction of and venue in such courts and waive any argument of forum non conveniens.
